The Perkins
700 Series is a true family of quiet running, naturally aspirated
and turbocharged 4 cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid cooled engines,
designed to give customers more choice and better value. Quiet,
clean and favoured by the forklift truck market is the, 2.6 litre
indirect injection 704-26. The alternative, is the high performance
704-30, a rugged 3.0 litre direct injection engine, popular across
all sectors.
These
engines have much to offer the equipment manufacturer and user,
they share a common compact profile, easily satisfying the requirements
of Stage 1 Off-Highway emissions legislation and go much further
towards satisfying the key areas of customer need.
